60 Best Family Christmas Movies to Watch With Your Kids This Year
These kid-friendly holiday films are best enjoyed while wearing matching Christmas pajamas. 🎄

Disney
If Ree Drummond could only pick 11 things that she loves about the holidays, watching Christmas movies would be very high up on her list. (Sandwiched right between memories of her Grandma Helen's house and listening to Christmas songs, of course.) Since Ree's husband and kids are also on her list of Yuletide favorites, she has an extra soft spot for family Christmas movies.
"It's a Wonderful Life. Miracle on 34th Street. Elf," Ree says, listing her go-to films. "You know…the classics."
Those are classic Christmas movies, indeed! It's hard to beat the laughs you'll get out of watching Buddy the Elf try to navigate New York City during the holidays. The sad tale of George Bailey turns into a happy story of a holiday miracle, reminding us exactly what happens every time a bell rings. And if your kids ever need convincing that Santa is real, watching Kris Kringle on trial will certainly do the trick! (After you've watched those three, be sure to check out some more funny Christmas movies, plus the best Christmas movies on Netflix and Disney Christmas movies!)
Whichever of the best Christmas movies you decide to enjoy with your family, make sure you have plenty of snacks—and don't forget to wear your matching pajamas! But seriously—if you don't watch Elf at least once this holiday season then you're a cotton-headed ninny-muggins. 😉
